GScales
The work
How I measure it, what happens each week, and exactly where the first map project stands.
The method
No case study yet, so I won’t ask you to trust a number. Here’s exactly how the picture is made. Anyone can run the same check.
Not your business name. The thing customers type when they have the problem.
That search is run from 49 spots on a grid, and your position is recorded at each one.
Same search, same grid, same points. Nothing changes except your ranking.
What I’ll never do: pick an easier search the second time, widen the grid, or measure from closer in. Those are the three ways this gets faked. Ask for both grids anytime and you’ll see.
A week of it
Small fixes that only add up when someone does all of them, every week.
A new post on your Google profile
Real photos added from your phone
One more service written out properly
A wrong directory listing fixed
A plain-English update every Friday
Honest status
8th of 11 for the main search around its own front door.
Every service written out, working booking link, real photos, weekly posts.
Not run yet. It goes on this page whichever way it points.
No publishing the good ones and hiding the bad ones. That’s why the first few businesses get a founding rate: you’re early, and early is worth a discount.
Next step
Tell me what you do and what town you’re in. I’ll have the picture before we talk.
